TinyPicta Privacy Policy

TinyPicta processes selected images locally in your browser. The app is designed so image files do not need to be uploaded to a server for compression.

Last updated: 13 July 2026

Local compression

Selected images are compressed in your browser using client-side libraries.

No account

The app does not require registration to compress images.

Your files

Download links and previews are temporary browser object URLs.

1. Overview

TinyPicta helps you compress JPG, PNG, and WebP images directly in your browser.

2. Image Processing

Images selected in the app are processed locally through browser APIs, browser-image-compression, and JSZip for ZIP generation.

By default, files are not uploaded to our server for compression.

3. Local Data

The app may store small preferences, such as PWA prompt dismissal, in browser storage.

Image previews and downloads use temporary object URLs that are cleared by the browser or when the app revokes them.

4. Technical Data

Hosting providers may process standard server logs such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps for security and troubleshooting.

5. Third Parties

The app uses browser-image-compression for image compression and JSZip for ZIP creation. Add details here if analytics, ads, or other services are introduced.

6. Changes

We may update this policy when the application changes how it stores, processes, or shares data.

7. Contact

For privacy questions or technical data requests, contact the TinyPicta team at rivaifnasution@gmail.com.
